Richard Brady, C Psychol
Chief Executive Officer

Richard Brady is a chartered organisational psychologist with over 20 years‘ experience in providing solutions to improve performance at Global 500 companies and in the Public Sector. He has a Bachelor‘s degree in Psychology from University of Birmingham and a Master’s degree in Organisational Psychology from University of London.
His early career was with UK Civil Service. Following three years‘ working as a psychologist for the Department of Employment, he worked as a Senior Psychologist at the Ministry of Defence between 1993 and 1997 where he implemented selection and development techniques for Royal Navy and Army Officers and other ranks.
Since 1997 Richard has provided HR consulting services to over 400 international companies. His current clients include HSBC, Emirates Steel Industries (ESI), Maersk Line, National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), Khalifa Fund and the English Cricket Board. Richard is a Founding Member of the BPS Special Group for Counselling Psychologists and he is passionate about helping both leaders and teams to improve. He is a popular coach and trainer and has delivered Executive Team development programmes to over thirty multinational companies. Richard is a recognised expert in the interpretation of the Hogan Inventories and since 2005 Mentis has been distributor for UK and the Gulf Co-Operation Countries (GCC) Regions.
Drew Watson BA CQSW MCIPD
Program Director, Executive Development
Drew is an organisation and executive development specialist with a track record of 30 years working at senior levels in blue chip organisations and a major global consultancy. He leads the Mentis programs in Executive Development.
Until recently, and for over six years, Drew worked full time as the Global Head of Executive and Leadership Development at Standard Chartered Bank where he is still retained part time on top level assignments.
Prior to this he was OD Head at Prudential UK and Europe and before that was Worldwide Development Leader at Silicon Valley’s National Semiconductor. Before this he was Principal Consultant in the HR Practice and Global Change Management Team at KPMG.
Drew is also a Special OD Advisor to an international airline based in Asia. He is a long serving member of the International Advisory Board for Executive Education at Said
Business School, Oxford University. He is also fully qualified and practiced in the Hogan Inventories and the TMS team profiles and uses these tools to assess and develop individuals and teams. Drew remains dedicated to igniting organisation and individual growth and development and has been recognised as a first class designer, orchestrator and facilitator as well as a broad based advisor.
Dr Steve Bull
Consultant
Steve is a Chartered Psychologist with a 25 year track record of working with high performers in both sport and business. He has been Headquarters Psychologist for the Great Britain Team at 3 Olympic Games and has worked with the England Cricket Team since 1997 – first as “team psychologist” and now as a “leadership coach”.
Steve has worked in the corporate world as a coaching psychologist since the late 1990s and has consulted with a wide range of companies in Europe, the USA and the Middle East. During this time he has established himself as a leading expert on mental toughness and resilience in the workplace.
He is the author of 8 books - the latest of which “The Game Plan: Your guide to mental toughness at work” has recieved considerable praise and sold in more than 10 countries around the world. He has provided numerous expert interviews on national TV and radio, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky news broadcasts.
In 2006 he was awarded an honorary doctorate for “outstanding services to international sport psychology”.
Ian Taylor, C Psychol
Consultant
Ian’s career spans over thirty years in a variety of training and development roles. He has over seventeen years’ experience of working in the UAE in senior learning and development and assessment positions. His international experience also includes a period in Hong Kong .
Ian combines strong theoretical and academic insights with a pragmatic, results focused approach.
His UAE experience includes the design, delivery and evaluation of a wide range leadership development programmes aligning these to succession management and engagement initiatives . He has also been responsible for professional development of facilitators and training standards in two major UAE airlines. Using his experience as a chartered occupational psychologist Ian has designed and implemented a wide range of assessment and development centres for managerial and specialist roles including airline pilots and cabin crew.
Ian is a chartered occupational psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council and British Psychological Society (BPS) in the UK. He also holds chartered member status with the UK’s Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Ian is qualified to administer and interpret a wide range of psychometric assessments and holds BPS Level A and B (Intermediate) qualifications in occupational testing.
His publications include “A practical guide to assessment and development centres” (Kogan Page 2007) and he appears regularly as the occupational psychologist “business doctor” on Dubai Eye radio station.
Ian holds four degrees from various UK institutions including; MA(Education), BSc (Hons), BA (Hons) and an MSc in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck College, London University.
Dr Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic
Consultant
Dr Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic is a rising star of psychology and world-wide expert in personality, intelligence, human performance, and psychometrics. He is a Reader at Goldsmiths, Research Fellow at UCL, and Visiting Professor at NYU, and has previously taught at the London School of Economics and the University of Bath. Dr Tomas has published more than 100 scientific articles and 5 books, covering a wide range of social and applied topics, such as interpersonal relationships and love, human intelligence and genius, consumer and media preferences, educational achievement, musical preferences, creativity and leadership, and frequently appears in the media to provide psychological expertise to a wide audience.
Dr Tomas has been the resident psychologist in the past four seasons of Big Brother and held regular columns on the show. He is also an active consultant and has worked with the BBC, MTV, Yahoo Music, Sky, Unilever, HSBC, Endemol, the British Army, and is an associate at Pulse-check and Mountanview. Dr Tomas is a regular keynote speaker for the Institute of Economic Affairs and Intelligence Squared.
Andrew Salisbury, MCHEM
Client Services Manager
Andrew Salisbury is responsible for commercial operations, finance, contracts, pre- & after sales client management and client satisfaction in the two main markets in which Mentis Consulting operates – UK and the Middle East. In this role, he leads Mentis’ commercial operations and is an advisor in sales decisions and the way in which Mentis’ products and services are handled. He is responsible for the operational excellence and has played a key role in achieving the high customer satisfaction, which has become a trademark of Mentis Consulting in the marketplace.
Mr Salisbury was named to his present position in 2010 after joining Mentis in 2009 and has since together with the CEO of the company, Richard Brady overseen the opening of our Abu Dhabi Office and our continued expansion of services in the UAE and UK.
Andrew Salisbury holds a Masters Degree specialising in Organic Chemistry from Balliol College, Oxford, where he also spent three years prior to that as an undergraduate studying Chemistry, Maths, Physical and Life Sciences.
