Do I need a Level B qualification to purchase Hogan materials?
No, clients do not need to have a Level B qualification to purchase Hogan materials; however, they will need someone certified in Hogan to use and interpret the Hogan Inventories. Companies can become Hogan qualified by attending our Certification Courses.
Do I need a Level B qualification to attend the Certification Course?
No, our certification course will enable you to use and interpret the three Hogan inventories HPI, HDS and MVPI. This certification is also recognised by Hogan in the U.S. If you can provide evidence of being certified elsewhere, we will also accept these qualifications.
How can I become certified to use the Hogan Inventories?
Mentis offers professional training in the use and interpretation of the Hogan Inventories delivered by experienced psychologists. This training is under license by Hogan Assessment Systems and entitles you to use these respected tools. Two Day Certification Workshop: for human resources practitioners, organisational development specialists and psychologists. Learn how to use and interpret the three inventories to enhance your approach to selection or development. One Day Conversion Workshop: covering an overview of the three Hogan Inventories, this course is for chartered occupational psychologists and holders of Intermediate BPS Level B Certificate in Occupational Testing.

How can I purchase Hogan reports?
Clients have two options when purchasing Hogan reports. The first option is to create an account on the master portal which is administrated by Mentis. The client will be charged as and when the account is used and there is no administration fee. Clients also have the option of being set up with their own Online Portal providing them with direct access to the main Hogan system allowing for the client to have complete control over their Hogan account. Clients receive full administrative training on how to use the portal and again there is no fee for the set up and training.
Are the inventories available in a variety of languages?
The inventories are available for participants to complete in over 40 languages. To view the languages the assessments are available in simply visit www.gotohogan.com/mlparticipant and scroll over the flags representing the different languages.

What are the Hogan inventories?
The Hogan Personality Inventory – The HPI examines seven core dimensions of ‘bright-side’ personality, supported by 42 subscales. This measures and assesses an individual’s ability to build relationships with colleagues and to achieve his/her occupational goals. The Hogan Development Survey – The HDS assesses the ‘dark side’ of an individual’s personality and it is based on groundbreaking research on the eleven behavioural tendencies that can derail career success. Avoiding these potential consequences is based on self-awareness. The HDS is the only inventory available that measures these behavioural tendencies. The Motives, Values Preferences Inventory – The MVPI reveals an individual’s core values, interests and motivational drivers and evaluates how these fit with the organisational culture of the company.
